not your average yoga class.
not your average yoga class.
We believe yoga should be fun. It’s about letting your body move and your brain relax and not caring about what anyone else in the room looks like.
Like all our services at here. we base our practice on solid scientific evidence and designed our yoga classes to help you get in the zone and stay there.
hr.yo
This is your hour.
A friendly balance of go and slow.
Our hr.yo class incorporates functional movement and mindful cues to achieve a moving mediation. Based on a vinyasa flow framework you will seamlessly move through sequences that challenge your strength and flexibility. There is a focus on postural alignment and connection to breath, keeping you present throughout the class.
Taught at a medium pace, hr. yoga is for everyone. Our instructors provide a range of progressions for each movement so that no matter your level of experience, you can let go and move your body in this energising practice.
yin.yo
A mindful unwind, our slowest, restorative class.
Yin yoga is an ancient practice that aims to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility by targeting the fascia – the deep connective tissues between the muscles. This restorative class consists of a series of passive floor postures and stretches, each held for up to 4-6 minutes. Yin is the perfect practice to balance some of the more dynamic yang style classes and the up tempo demands of every day life.
Accessible for beginners all the way to the most experienced yogis. Bolsters will often be used in this class, please bring a towel to wrap around if you would like to use one.
slow.yo
Take your time, find your slow.
Slow.yo is all about doing just that – slowing down. Combining elements of both hatha and vinyasa yoga frameworks, slow.yo is your chance to leave the troubles of the week behind, move mindfully and learn about your body.
Like all our yoga classes you’ll still flow from one position to the next, only this time the pace is a little slower, offering you more chance to really hone your alignment and bring your attention back to your breath.
go.yo
A powerful flow.
Go.yo is our power vinyasa yoga class. Still mindful through both breathing and postural cueing, it’s a strong practice run to a faster pace and some sweet tunes. We’ll also offer up some of the more difficult progressions of each asana to challenge those with a more advanced practice.
You’ll sweat, you’ll probably laugh at yourself, you’ll definitely have fun.
bro.yo
Our dedicated, guys-only yoga class.
It’s a chance to come together with new friends and old, flowing through a powerful sequence of positions focused on building strength with flexibility (we’re firm believers that one shouldn’t come at the sacrifice of the other).
You’ll work hard to improve your range of motion, whilst building core strength and stability. It’s also a chance to leave the week behind, let your brain take a break from the stress of everyday life and instead focus on moving and breathing mindfully.
The class caters to all levels, so it doesn’t matter if you’re a rookie or a pro, just be sure to bring your banter (and beers or wine if you’d like to have one afterwards).
base.yo
Build your foundation.
This class focuses on moving the body with mindfulness and care, building stability and working within the parameters of each individual’s needs. A great starting point for those with little yoga experience or wanting to return to yoga and the fundamentals.
You’ll learn the essential postures, poses, alignment and breath to gain a firm grounding in your yoga practice. We’ve long believed the physical practice is a stepping stone to something much more fulfilling and of greater benefit if we can find a class that supports us.
Bolsters will often be used in this class, please bring a towel to wrap around if you would like to use one.
