When we become stressed, our brain tends to switch into its default mode of fixating on the past or worrying about the future, and it becomes difficult to find our way back to the present. Our skilled psychologists are experts in wellbeing of the brain. They help you let go and learn to be more present. When we slow down and become mindful, we unlock the key to living a more rich and meaningful life.

You can choose from three different appointment types:

A friendly online telehealth session.

We understand that sometimes it’s hard to be here, so this is a 50 minute telehealth session where you can chat to one of our delightful psychologists over a video call.

Medicare rebates may be available if you have a valid mental health care plan.

talk.

A sit-down in the studio.

A 50 minute appointment with one of our psychologists in the studio. With a warming tea in your hands, in the privacy of our beautiful consult room in Acton, Canberra.

walk.

Take a mindful stroll through green space.

A 50 minute outdoor session with one of our psychologists. Whether you’re chatting as you walk through the green space around our studio or you’re practicing mindfulness, this is a new type of appointment designed specifically to immerse yourself and your senses in a slower environment.

Medicare.

Psychology sessions are often partially subsidised through the medicare system which can give you rebates on up to ten sessions per calendar year. If you’d like to claim a rebate through medicare you’ll first need to see your GP for a letter of referral and a mental health care plan. Don’t forget to bring these along to your first appointment too.

Private health.

Some private health funds will also offer rebates for your sessions. The exact amount returned will depend on your fund and level of cover so it’s best to ask them directly for this information.

Showing up.

Please arrive to your scheduled psychology appointment on time. If you are running more than 10 minutes late just give us a call on 02 5105 7310 or email hello@behere.co. There is a possibility your appointment may not go ahead as we value the quality of our service and want to ensure the appropriate amount of time is allocated for your session.
